Monica Boniadi, DDS, is the owner and dentist of the Laser and Cosmetic Dental Institute of Orange County. Dedicated to staying up to date on the newest developments and advancements within the field of dentistry, Dr. Monica Boniadi is a member of several professional organizations, including the Orange County Dental Society (OCDS).
A component of the California Dental Association (CDA), the OCDS is the largest of that group’s 32 dental society components and is committed to advancing dental ethics and excellence. There are several benefits to becoming a member of the OCDS. Following are just a few of these opportunities and benefits.
– Social events: OCDS members have the opportunity to attend the organization’s various events. This includes its Hospitality in Anaheim event; the OCDS Night with the Angels; and its various Membership Mixers. Registration for these events is free for members, and the Hospitality in Anaheim event allows members to earn continuing education credits.
– Networking: members may communicate with the organization on Facebook and Twitter, and have access to the OCDS’ newly designed website. Additionally, they may download the organization’s mobile app, which provides members with such things as a calendar of events, online registration, and a membership directory.
– Educational opportunities: the OCDS maintains a continuing education program that includes six lectures for members. It also offers courses about infection control and the California Dental Practice Act for various licenses, as well as a two-day seminar that is available to members. Further, members are invited to the OCDS’ New Dentist Committee Presents event.
